CAN Register and Communication Line Inspection 2

  1. Turn the Ignition switch 'OFF'.
  2. Disconnect cluster and ECM/PCM connectors.
  3. Measure resistance between terminal C-CAN Low and C-CAN High of Cluster. (component side)
  4. Measure resistance between terminal C-CAN Low and C-CAN High of ECM/PCM. (component side)

    Specification:  Approximately 120 Ω

  5. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Go to next procedure.

    NO 

    • If the measured value is out of specification, repair or replace CAN Register (120 Ω, inside of cluster and ECM/PCM), and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
