Repair Procedures: Installation

Install the seat belt pretensioner (B) and then connect the seat belt pretensioner connector (A).
Tightening torque:

39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)

Install the front seat belt upper anchor (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.
Tightening torque:

39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)

Install the lower seat belt and then close the lower cover (A).
Tightening torque:

39.2 - 53.9 N.m (4.0 - 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 - 39.8 lb-ft)

Install the center pillar lower trim.
(Refer to Body - "CENTER PILLAR TRIM ")
Install the center pillar upper trim.
(Refer to Body - "CENTER PILLAR TRIM ")
Install the door scuff trim.
(Refer to Body - "DOOR SCUFF TRIM ")
Reconnect the battery negative cable.
After installing the seat belt pretensioner, confirm proper system operation:
- Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should be turned on for about six seconds and then go off.
