Repair Procedures: Removal

- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Disconnect the accelerator position sensor connector (A).
- Disconnect the mounting cap (A).
- Remove the accelerator pedal module from the vehicle after loosening mounting bolt (A).
Accelerator pedal module mounting bolt:
8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb.ft)
