Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor the voltage of EPB actuator circuit (Over current)
  1. Faulty EPB Actuator
  2. Open circuit in EPB actuator circuit
  3. Faulty EPB actuator driver system
  4. Defective EPB actuator driver system
  5. Blown fuse
Threshold Value
  • A failure is detected when the motor current is greater than 68A for more than 200 milliseconds
MIL  
  • EPB/AVH warning lamps are activated

    EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamps are not activated
Reset Condition
  • When the normal state is confirmed after ignition switch turned OFF and back ON
