DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor the voltage of EPB actuator circuit (Open)
  1. Faulty EPB Actuator
  2. Open circuit in EPB actuator circuit
  3. Faulty EPB actuator driver system
  4. Defective EPB actuator driver system
  5. Blown fuse
Threshold Value
  • A failure is detected when the voltage difference between motor power voltage (+) and motor ground voltage (-) is greater than 1V for 1.5 seconds during motor inactivated
  • When the current is lower than the no-load condition for more than 500 milliseconds during motor activated
  • A failure is detected when the current change is less than 1A within 300 milliseconds immediately after motor drive
MIL  
  • EPB/AVH warning lamps are activated

    EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamps are not activated
Reset Condition
  • When the normal state is confirmed after ignition switch turned OFF and back ON
