DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
| Troubleshooting |
Condition |
Possible Cause |
| Main Action |
- Monitor the Motor circuit
|
- Open or short in power supply circuit
- Blown fuse
- Faulty IEBM
- Excessive parking brake shoe gap
- Faulty motor circuit
- Faulty motor wall detection
- Faulty motor initial setup
|
| Threshold Value |
Case 1 (Motor initialization) |
- When the difference between motor initialize position and motor offset position is greater than 10 degree
- During the motor initialization process, if phase equilibrium is not achieved when phase fixation is performed
- When motor voltage is less than 4V or greater than 50V during motor initialization
|
| Case 2 (Motor open) |
- When motor phase current is all below 2A during motor operation
|
| Case 3 (Motor power line open) |
- When motor supply voltage is less than 4V while IEBM supply voltage is greater than 7.5V
|
| Case 4 (ECU internal Motor inverter short) |
- When the voltage difference between FET Drain and FET Source is greater than 2V
- When the voltage difference between FET Drain and FET Gate is greater than 0.8V
|
| Case 5 (ECU internal Gate Driver failure) |
- When Motor Gate Driver failure
- SPI fault, BIST (Built-In Self-Test)
- Clock error, Charge pump error
- EEPROM, Configuration register
- Output feedback monitoring, Temperature error
|
| Case 6 (Motor Wall Detection) |
- A failure is detected when motor current is greater than pre-defined value [30] A longer than 1 second during wall detection
|
| MIL |
- ABS/ESC/IEB/RBS/DBC/AVH warning lamps are activated
|
| Reset Condition |
- When Motor is normally initialized after ignition switch turned OFF and back ON
|
