Case 1 (Open) |
- When the valve relay is ON and the corresponding solenoid driver is OFF, one of the followings is detected:
- ABS/ESC valve: the solenoid voltage is less than 2.0V for more than 165 milliseconds
- When the valve relay is OFF and the corresponding solenoid driver is ON, one of the followings is detected;
- ABS/ESC valve: the target current is greater than 1A and the solenoid current is less than 0.2A for more than 165 milliseconds

| Case 2 (Short) |
- When the valve relay is ON and the corresponding solenoid driver is OFF, one of the followings is detected:
- ABS/ESC valve: the target current is equal to 0A and the solenoid current is greater than 1A for more than 165 milliseconds
- When the valve relay is "ON" and the corresponding solenoid driver is ON under the condition below
- ABS/ESC valve: solenoid current is over 8.5 ± 2.5A for more than 165 milliseconds
