DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor the valve relay voltage
  1. Open or short in power supply circuit (IGN+)
  2. Defected IEBM
  3. Blown fuse
  4. Faulty Battery
Threshold Value
  • When valve relay is ON and its voltage remains less than 5V for more than 165 milliseconds
  • When valve relay is ON and the voltage difference between Drain side and Source side of valve relay FET is greater than 1 ± 0.15V for more than 165 milliseconds
  • When valve relay is ON and the voltage difference between Drain side and Source side of valve relay FET is less than 6 ± 0.8V for more than 165 milliseconds
  • When valve relay is off and its voltage remains greater than 6 V continuously for more than 25 milliseconds
MIL
  • EBD/ABS/ESC/IEB/RBS/DBC/AVH warning lamps are activated
Reset Condition
  • When Valve is normally initialized, after ignition is turned OFF and ON again
