Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor CAN message
  1. Faulty HPCU
  2. Open/short in CAN communication line
  3. Poor connector connection
  4. Other ECUs incorrectly occupy the CAN bus
  5. Faulty HCU
Threshold Value  
  • When failure signal of HCU message is received for more than specific time
  • Specific time: In control = 500 milliseconds

    Non control = 1500 milliseconds
MIL
  • ESC/AVH/DBC/EPB warning lamps are activated
Reset Condition
  • When normal CAN signal is received for more than 500 milliseconds after ignition is turned OFF and ON again
