DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor the CAN message
  1. Open or short in CAN lines
  2. Damaged or poor connector connection
  3. Other controller incorrectly occupy the CAN Bus lines.
  4. Faulty Gateway
Threshold Value
  • Driver door switch or Driver Seat Belt switch signal in CGW message is invalid for more than specific times continuously
  • Specific times: 2000 milliseconds
MIL  
  • EPB warning lamp is activated

    EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC)/AVH warning lamps are not activated
Reset Condition
  • When normal CAN signal is received for more than 500 milliseconds after ignition is turned OFF and ON again
