Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor the CAN message
  1. Poor Gateway connector connection
  2. Gateway incorrectly occupy the CAN Bus line
  3. Defective wire
  4. Short circuit between CAN bus lines.
  5. Faulty Gateway
  6. ECU version does not match vehicle specifications
Threshold Value
  • When the CAN message is not received more than 2 seconds from Gateway
MIL  
  • AVH/EPB warning lamps are activated

    EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps are not activated
Reset Condition
  • Turn ignition switch OFF and back ON
