DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitor the pressure sensor
  1. Pressure sensor circuit open or short
  2. Faulty pressure sensor (IEBM)
  3. Air bleeding is not performed correctly
Threshold Value
  • If pressure sensor signal is changed over 30 bar more than 100 times within 2 seconds
  • If circuit pressure is greater than 15 bar while pedal stroke is less than 5 mm and PSP pressure is less tan 15 bar during no control (Cut valve inactive) for more than 1 second
MIL
  • RBS warning lamp is activated

EBD/ABS/ESC/IEB/DBC/AVH/EPB warning lamps are not activated
Reset Condition
  • After ignition switch turned off and on again brake pressed and released for more than 3 seconds
NOTE: * IEBM (Integrated Electric Brake Module: ESP Control Module)
