Repair Procedures: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  2. Refill the engine with engine oil.

    (Refer to Lubrication System - "ENGINE OIL ")

  3. Refill the radiator and reservoir tank with engine coolant.

    (Refer to Cooling System - "COOLANT ")

    NOTE: Make sure to refill the engine coolant following the ITM coolant filling procedure.
    After installation is completed, perform the followings.
    • Refill the transaxle with fluid.
    • Inspect for fuel leakage.
    • After assembling the fuel line, turn on the ignition switch (do not operate the starter) so that the fuel pump runs for approximately 2 seconds and fuel line pressurizes.
    • Repeat this operation 2 or 3 times, then check for fuel leakage at any point in the fuel line.
    • Clean battery & cable terminals with sand paper and then assemble them.

      Apply grease to prevent corrosion.
