Disassembly and Reassembly

  1. Remove the rear cover (A).

  2. Remove the regulator assembly (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.
    NOTE:
    • Be careful not to damage the surrounding parts.

  3. Remove the overrunning alternator pulley (OAP) cap (A).

    NOTE:
    • When installing, replace with new OAD cap.
  4. Remove the OAP (A) using the SST (09373-27000).

  5. Unsolder the stator leads and then removing the regulator (A).

  6. Loosening the penetration bolt (A).

  7. Remove the rotor (A) from the housing (B).

  8. Reassemble in the reverse order of disassemble.
