Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitoring current
  1. Faulty EPB actuator (Faulty Gear or screw)
  2. Faulty ESP (ESC)
Threshold value
  • When the motor current is greater than 0.5A and the motor voltage is greater than 7V without PBC control command.
    • * When error happens, warning lamp is on and motor stop immediately.
Diagnosis time
  • 400 ms/800 ms/1400 ms/3500 ms
MIL
  • EPB/AVH warning lamps are activated. EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamps are not activated.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch OFF and ON.
