Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause

  • Monitoring current
  1. Faulty EPB actuator (Faulty Gear or screw)
  2. Faulty ESP (ESC)
Threshold value
  • When the input state of motor driver to the PBC is maintained "Apply", "Release", or "Free run" for more than 20 seconds.
Diagnosis time
  • 20 seconds
MIL
  • EPB/AVH warning lamps are activated. EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamps are not activated.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch OFF and ON.
