Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitoring current
  1. Short to ground or short to battery in the motor circuit
  2. Faulty Motor driver system
Threshold value
  • The current value supplied to motor after 100 milliseconds, after "apply" or "release" request of PBC Motor driver is
    • maintained more than 50A for 90 milliseconds.
    • maintained more than 40A for 120 milliseconds.
    • maintained more than 30A for 200 milliseconds.
Diagnosis time
  • 90 milliseconds/120 milliseconds/200 milliseconds
MIL
  • EPB/AVH warning lamps are activated. EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamps are not activated.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch OFF and ON.
