DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the CAN message
  1. Poor Gateway connector connection
  2. Gateway incorrectly occupy the CAN Bus line
  3. Defective wire
  4. Short circuit between CAN bus lines.
  5. Faulty Gateway
  6. Faulty ESP (ESC)
  7. ECU version does not match car specifications.
Threshold value
  • When the CAN message is not received more than 2 seconds from Gateway.
Diagnosis time
  • 2 seconds
MIL
  • AVH/EPB warning lamps are activated. EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps are not activated.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch OFF and back ON.
