Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the CAN message
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. FCA (AEB/SCC) incorrectly occupy the CAN Bus line
  3. Defective wire
  4. Short circuit between CAN bus lines.
  5. Faulty FCA (AEB/SCC)
Threshold value
  • When FCA (AEB) message's Alive counter does not increase more than 200 milliseconds.
  • A failure is detected when received FCA (AEB) message's checksum value and calculated checksum value is different for more than 200 milliseconds.
Diagnosis time
  • 200 milliseconds
MIL
  • No MIL On
Reset condition
  • When the normal state is confirmed after ignition switch turned OFF and back ON.
