Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Internal monitoring
  1. Poor contact of connector
  2. Controller power supply failure
  3. Faulty ESP (ESC)
Threshold value
  • After completion of EPB motor operation, when EPB motor drive Power-FET is turned on/off and the monitored voltage exceeds the reference value for more than 1.5 seconds.
    • Reference value: Below 0.7V (when OFF) Greater than Vbat*60%(when ON)
  • After completion of EPB motor operation, when EPB motor drive Pre-driver is turned on/off and the monitored voltage exceeds the reference value for more than 1.5 seconds.
    • Reference value: Below 0.38V (when OFF) Between 0.28V and 0.63V (when ON)
  • When a hardware (EEPROM) error in the ESP (ESC) module is detected.
Diagnosis time
  • 1.5 seconds
MIL
  • EPB warning lamp is activated. EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamps are not activated.
Reset condition
  • When the normal state is confirmed after ignition switch turned OFF and back ON.
