DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the calibration state of SAS
  1. Steering Angle Sensor is not calibrated
  2. Faulty SAS
  3. Faulty ESP
  4. SAS power supply failure
Threshold value
  • A failure is detected when stored sensor calibration value is invalid. Or
  • The calibration of the corresponding sensor has not been executed.
Diagnosis time
  • 100 milliseconds
MIL
  • ESP (ESC) warning lamp is activated. EBD/ABS/EPB warning lamps are not activated.
Reset condition
  • After ignition switch turned OFF and ON, if SAS calibration signal is normal.
