| Threshold value |
- ESC: When there is no braking input and motor drive, and it is not low voltage, and the pressure sensor value is greater than ±15 bars for more than 2 seconds.
- EPB: A failure is detected when ESC (Brake On/Off) signal and pressure sensor signal fail simultaneously.

- EPB warning lamp is activated. EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamps are not activated.

| Reset condition |
- ESC: After ignition switch turned OFF and back ON, pressure sensor offset value is below 15 bar when after driving more than 10 km/h (6.2 MPH), accelerator pedal position sensor value is greater than 20% and without brake lamp switch signal.
- EPB: When the ESC (Brake On/Off) signal is normal or the pressure sensor is normal after ignition switch is turned Off and back On.
