DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Case 1	Threshold value	When wheel sensor speed pulse is not detected while the vehicle speed is above 40 km/h (24.9 MPH) for more than 300 milliseconds.
Case 1	Diagnosis time	300 milliseconds
Case 2	Threshold value	A failure is detected when the ECU recognizes wheel speed change of ±100g from one wheel. When a brake pedal is stepped on, and wheel speed is rapidly changed for more than 20 seconds. When a brake pedal is not stepped on, and wheel speed is rapidly changed for more than 5 seconds. In case that more than three wheel speed change are rapidly for more than 1 second.
Case 2	Diagnosis time	20 seconds/5 seconds/1 second
MIL		Only one wheel failure : ABS/ESP (ESC) warning lamps are activated. EBD/EPB warning lamp is not activated. Two or more wheels failure : ABS/EBD/ESP (ESC)/EPB warning lamps are activated.
Reset condition		After ignition switch turned OFF and back ON, when all wheel speed is normal after driving more than 12 km/h (7.45 MPH).
