Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

Remove the Luggage Side Trim [LH].
(Refer to Interior Trim - "LUGGAGE SIDE TRIM ")
Separate the connector (A), loosen the mounting nuts and remove the fuel filler door actuator.

Separate the fuel filler door cable (A) from the actuator.
CAUTION:
- Do not separate it with excessive force. (Replace with new cable if necessary)

Using a remover and remove the fuel filler door mounting pin (A).

Loosen the fuel door mounting bolt (A) and remove the rubber end (B) with a knife.

Remove the fuel filler door (A).

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Information
- Make sure the fuel filler door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.
