Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Putting in a flat tool (05 mm) into the guide hole (A) and then release the DAB pin.

  3. Release the wiring clip and then disconnect the horn connector (B).
  4. Disconnect the DAB connector (A), then remove the driver airbag

  5. After disconnecting the connector (A), remove the steering wheel by loosening the mounting bolt (B).

  6. Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.

    (Refer to Body - "STEERING COLUMN SHROUD PANEL ")

  7. Disconnect multifunction switch connectors (A).

  8. Remove the multifunction switch after loosening the screw (A).
