Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
- Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
(Refer to Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the rear seat back assembly.
(Refer to Rear Seat - "REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the rear door scuff trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "DOOR SCUFF TRIM ")
- Remove the rear door pillar trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "REAR PILLAR TRIM ")
- Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the luggage partition center trim cover (A).
Tightening torque:
7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft)
- Remove the rear transverse trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "REAR TRANSVERSE TRIM ")
- Remove the trunk lid weatherstrip.
(Refer to Trunk Lid - "TRUNK LID WEATHERSTRIP ")
- Loosen the mounting screws, clips and remove the luggage side trim (A).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Information
- Replace any damaged clips.
