Component Function: Transponder
A transponder built in the Smart Key knob receives data regarding ignition when the ignition switch is ON and transmits its calculations of encryption wirelessly.
NOTE:
- A transponder does not require a separate battery. It functions using power generated inside the vehicle.
- A transponder is a built-in component inside the Smart Key, which makes it irreplacable and irremovable. The component can be semi-permanently used if no shock or damage is done.
