Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the under cover.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  2. Loosen the drain plug and drain the engine coolant.

    (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "COOLANT ")

  3. Disconnect the cooling hose (B) after separated the clamp (A).

  4. Disconnect the hose (B) after removing the automatic transaxle fluid cooler hose clamp (A).

    CAUTION:
    • When hose & pipe assembly

      Align marking of pipe (B), marking of hose (A), and matching color each other.

    • Carefully install the clamp not to damage the hose
    • Install the clamp in a correct direction not to be interfered with other parts
    • After the installation, start the engine and then check if there are any leakages from the hose.
  5. Remove the ATF warmer (A) from the valve body cover.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.5 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)
