Removal and Installation

Remove the engine cover.
Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
Disconnect the engine wiring connector and haness clamp and disconnect the wiring from intake manifold.

Disconnect the PCV (Positive crankcase ventilation) hose (A) and the PCSV (Purge control solenoid valve) (B).

Disconnect the reservior tank water hose bracket (A).

Remove the intercooler outlet hose (A).
Tightening torque:

4.9 ~ 6.8 N.m (0.5 ~ 0.7 kgf.m, 3.6 ~ 5.0 lb-ft)

Remove the installation bolts, and then remove the ETC module (A) from the engine.
Electronic throttle body Installation bolt:

7.8 ~ 9.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.0 kgf.m, 5.7 ~ 7.2 lb-ft)

Disconnect the vacuum hose (A).

Remove the intake manifold (A) with the gasket.
Tightening torque:

18.6 ~ 23.5 N.m (1.9 ~ 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 ~ 17.4 lb-ft)

NOTE:
- When installing, replace with new gaskets.
- When installing the intake manifold, tighten the boltsand nuts with pre-torque first, and then tighten thebolts and nuts with specified torque in the sequenceshown.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
