Repair Procedures: Removal

- Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
- Remove the air duct.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
- Disconnect the positive (+) terminals (A) from the battery.

- Remove the battery insulation pad.
- Remove the battery (A) after removing the mounting bracket (B).
- Remove the battery tray (A) after removing the bolts.
