Repair Procedures: Replacement
CAUTION:
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
- When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Remove the front bumper cover.
(Refer to Front Bumper - "FRONT BUMPER COVER ")
- Loosen the mounting screws and remove the radiator grille upper cover (A).
- Remove the fixing clip and then the front bumper energy absorber (A).
- Loosen the radiator grill mounting screws.
- Using a screwdriver or remover, pull the clip (B) upward and remove the radiator grill (A).
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
Information
- Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
