Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION: Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

Information 

  1. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Floor Console - "FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")

  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")

  3. Remove the cluster fascia panel.

    (Refer to Crash Pad - "CLUSTER FASCIA PANEL ")

  4. Remove the heater & A/C control unit.

    (Refer to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning - "HEATER & A/C CONTROL UNIT (MANUAL) ")

    (Refer to Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning - "HEATER & A/C CONTROL UNIT (DATC) ")

  5. Remove both stoppers (B) from the glove box (A) by turning the stoppers.

  6. Separate the air damper (A) from the glove box (B).

  7. Disconnect the pushpins (A) and then remove the glove box (B).

  8. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).

  9. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad under cover [RH] (A).

  10. Loosen the mounting screws and remove the crash pad air vent duct [RH] (A).

  11. After loosening the mounting screws and bolts, remove the crash pad center panel (A).

  12. Disconnect the start/stop button connector (A).

  13. Disconnect the glove box lamp connector (A) and glove box lamp switch connector (B).

  14. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
