Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Remove the transfer assembly.

    (Refer to 4WD System - "TRANSFER ASSEMBLY ")

  2. Remove the oil seal (A).

  3. Remove the dust cover (A).

  4. Remove the oil seal (A), (B) of driveshaft side.

  5. Remove the oil seal (C) of transaxle side.

    [Gasoline 1.6] 

  6. Install the oil seal with a SST (No.:09473-D3600, 09231-H1100).

    [Gasoline 2.0] 

  7. Install the oil seal with a SST.

    SST (No.: 09473-M0100, 09231-H1100) [Transaxle side]

    SST (No.: 09473-M0200, 09231-H1100) [Driveshaft side]

  8. To install, reverse the removal procedures.
