DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor CAN message
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty TCM
  • Open or short in CAN line
  • Specification setting error
Enable Condition
  • Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
Threshold Value Case1
  • When the abnormal TCM message (gear) is received
Case2
  • When the abnormal TCM message (torque converter speed) is received
Detecting Time Case1
  • Vehicle speed: below 4 KPH (2.49 MPH)
    • During controlling: 0.5s
    • During non-controlling: 1.5s
Case2
  • Only SCC
    • During controlling: 0.5s
    • During non-controlling: 1.5s
Warning Lamp Case1
  • EPB
Case2
  • None
Disable Condition
  • When the normal temperature is confirmed after the ignition switch turns off and then on
