DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Variant coding monitoring
  • Variant coding is not performed correctly
  • Faulty HECU
Enable Condition
  • Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • Engine "ON"
Threshold Value
  • Inline coding or variant coding is not completed
  • Variant coding is un-matched
  • When message not received from EMS due to CAN bus off or CAN time out for more than 5s
  • 4WD message is received even if the vehicle is not 4WD
Warning Lamp
  • EBD, ABS, ESC, AVH
Disable Condition
  • When variant coding is completed
