DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor CAN message
  • Faulty HECU
  • Defective yaw rate sensor
  • Steering angle sensor fault
  • Alignment error
  • Abnormal tires (wear or abnormal products)
Enable Condition
  • Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
  • Vehicle speed: 22 KPH (20.5 MPH)
Threshold Value
  • When the ESC continuously controls the front wheel for more than 10s
Warning Lamp
  • ABS, ESC
Disable Condition
  • When every wheel speed signal is normal after driving 12 KPH (7.4 MPH) or more after the ignition switch turns off and then on
