DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open in P-CAN line between HECU and TCM
  • Faulty TCM
Enable Condition
  • Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
Threshold Value
  • If the TCU CAN message was not received for more than specific time
Detecting time
  • During controlling: 0.5s
  • During non-controlling: 1.5s
Warning Lamp
  • EPB
Disable Condition
  • When the normal state is confirmed after the ignition switch turns off and then on
