DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open in P-CAN line between HECU and ECM
  • Faulty ECM
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • The abnormal EMS CAN message (engine torque, TPS, pedal) is received for more than specific time
Detecting time
  • In control: 500ms
  • No control: 1500ms
Warning Lamp
  • ESC, EPB
Disable Condition
  • When the normal state is confirmed after the ignition switch turns off and then on
