DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor CAN message
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short/open circuit in CAN line
  • Continuous noise
Enable Condition
  • Normal battery voltage (9 to 16V)
Threshold Value
  • When P-CAN bus off occurs and it is keep for more than 0.14s during control or 0.7s during non-control, a fault is detected
    • Vehicle speed is less than 6 KPH (3.72 MPH), and not controlled
    • Vehicle speed is greater than 6 KPH or controlling
Warning Lamp
  • ESC, EPB
Disable Condition
  • When the normal state is confirmed after the ignition switch turns off and then on
