Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "ON".
SCC/FCA connector 4 (C-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.1
SCC/FCA connector 5 (C-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
SCC/FCA connector 4 (C-CAN high) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
SCC/FCA connector 5 (C-CAN low) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
SCC/FCA connector 4 (C-CAN high) MDPS connector 7 (C-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
SCC/FCA connector 5 (C-CAN low) MDPS connector 8 (C-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
MDPS connector 1 (Memory power) Chassis ground - B+
MDPS connector 1 (ON/START Input) Chassis ground - B+
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
MDPS connector 2 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
