Circuit Inspection

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  2. Ignition "ON".
ECM connector (1.6 MPI M/T) 18, 48 (power) Chassis ground - B+
PCM connector (1.6 MPI A/T) 33, 45, 48, 74 (power) Chassis ground - B+
ECM connector (1.6 TGDI) 4, 7, 29 (power) Chassis ground - B+
PCM connector (2.0 MPI) 41, 75 (power) Chassis ground - B+
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
ECM connector (1.6 MPI M/T) 33, 50, 52 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
PCM connector (1.6 MPI A/T) 2, 3, 4 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
ECM connector (1.6 TGDI) 1, 2, 3 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
PCM connector (2.0 MPI) 1, 2, 4 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Connect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  2. Ignition "ON".
