Circuit Inspection

Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "ON".
MDPS connector 7 (C-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.1
MDPS connector 8 (C-CAN low) Chassis ground -
4WD ECU connector 2 (P-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.2
4WD ECU connector 1 (P-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "ON".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
MDPS connector 1 (power) Chassis ground - B+
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
MDPS connector 1 (ON/START Input) Chassis ground - B+
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
MDPS connector 2 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
4WD ECU connector 2 (P-CAN high) ICU connector 9 (P-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
4WD ECU connector 1 (P-CAN low) ICU connector 8 (P-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
MDPS connector 7 (C-CAN high) ICU connector 11 (C-CAN high) Approx. below 1Ω
MDPS connector 8 (C-CAN low) ICU connector 10 (C-CAN low) Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
4WD ECU connector 2 (P-CAN high) 4WD ECU connector 1 (P-CAN low) Approx. 60Ω
MDPS connector 7 (C-CAN high) MDPS connector 8 (C-CAN low) Approx. 60Ω
