Circuit Inspection

Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
  3. Ignition "ON".
Transmission range switch connector 5 (power) Chassis ground - Approx. 5V
Transmission range switch connector 7 (S1) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
Transmission range switch connector 8 (S2) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
Transmission range switch connector 6 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. 0V
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
Transmission range switch connector 7 (S1) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
Transmission range switch connector 8 (S2) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinity)Ω
Transmission range switch connector 6 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω
Transmission range switch connector 7 (S1) PCM connector 27 (S1) Approx. below 1Ω
Transmission range switch connector 8 (S2) PCM connector 8 (S2) Approx. below 1Ω
Transmission range switch connector 6 (ground) PCM connector 70 (ground) Approx. below 1Ω
