DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check, plausibility
  • Poor connector connection
  • Air leak in intake or exhaust system
  • Faulty upstream O2 sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage greater than 10V
  • Engine running greater than 60s
  • Engine at operating temperature
  • No disable faults
Threshold Value
  • O2 sensor voltage is less than 1.3V or greater than 3.8V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously (more than 76.5s failure for every 90s test)
MIL ON Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
