DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the wheel speed sensor
  • Faulty WSS
  • Engine system
  • Faulty the TPMS
  • CAN communication line
  • Faulty the IBU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Normal battery voltage is 9 to 16V
  • The vehicle speed is less than 3.1 MPH (5 km/h)
Threshold Value
  • It detects more than three error data among four wheel speed sensors
  • WSS transmits FF message for 2.5s continuously via CAN
Detecting time
  • 100s
Clear Conditions
  • Normal wheel speed sensor message received
  • The vehicle speed is greater than 15.5 MPH (25 km/h)
