Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the glove box.

    (Refer to Body - "GLOVE BOX ")

  3. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")

  4. Remove the cluster fascia panel.

    (Refer to Body - "CLUSTER FASCIA PANEL ")

  5. Loosen the mounting screw and remove the driver shower duct (A).

  6. Disconnect the manual controller cable (A).

  7. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the A/C & heater controller unit (A).

  8. Disconnect the A/C & heater control connectors (A).

  9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Information 

    • Make sure the connector are connected in properly.
    • Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
