Cooling Fan Assembly

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
  2. Remove the air duct.

    (Refer to Intake and Exhaust System - "AIR CLEANER ")

  3. Disconnect the over flow hose (A).

  4. Separate the filler neck assembly (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft, 35.4 - 53.1 lb.in)

  5. Remove the hood latch.

    (Refer to Body (Interior and Exterior) - "HOOD LATCH ")

  6. Remove the air intake shield (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb.ft, 35.4 - 53.1 lb.in)

  7. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (A).

  8. Remove the cooling fan assembly (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    4.9 - 7.9 N.m (0.5 - 0.8 kgf.m, 3.6 - 5.8 lb.ft, 43.4 - 69.4 lb.in)

  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
