Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Disconnect the canister close valve connector (A).
  3. Loosening the canister mounting bolts (B).

  4. Remove the canister assembly after Disconnecting the ventilation hose quick-connector (A) and vapor hose quick-connector (B, C).

  5. Remove the canister protector (A) after loosening bolt & clips.

  6. Remove the canister cover (A) after loosening bolt & clips.

  7. Disconnect the Clip (A, C) and canister close valve connector (B).

  8. Separate the fuel tank air filter & canister close valve (A) from the canister after rotating it in the direction of the arrow in the figure.
