Repair Procedures: Replacement

[Front emblem]

Information

Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without damaging the surface.
Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

After loosening the mounting clips and bolts, remove the front bumper upper garnish (A).
Tightening torque:

5.9 - 8.8 N.m (0.6 - 0.9 kgf-m, 4.3 - 6.5 lb.ft, 52.1 - 78.1 lb.in)

Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the front emblem (A).

To install, reinstall in reverse order of removal procedure.

[Rear emblem]

Information

Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without damaging the surface.
Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Remove the tailgate garnish.
(Refer to Body Side Molding - "TAILGATE GARNISH ")
After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the rear emblem (A).

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers).
