DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate Upstream O2 sensor Heater performance
  • Poor connector connection
  • Faulty related fuse
  • Open/Short in Power Circuit
  • Open/Short in Heater Control Circuit
  • Faulty Upstream O2 sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Upstream O2 sensor normal heating time is higher than 1s
  • Battery voltage at between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Upstream O2 sensor tip temperature is lower than 670°C (1238°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 20s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
